BAAL Leadership in Applied Linguistics Programme 2025-2026 – Fill in form
Successful applicants will:
- work in an area within applied linguistics, broadly defined
- self-identify as a mid-career scholar who is in, or expects to move into, a leadership position within or beyond their university
- stand to gain from the programme in their current or future leadership roles and be able to articulate the envisaged contribution they could make as a result of completing the programme.
Note that you need to commit to attending the launch event (in person, unless your circumstances do not allow this), and at least three (3) of the four online events. The online sessions will be recorded and shared with participants for the duration of the programme. A certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the programme.
Applications from applied linguists with a diversity of backgrounds are welcomed. We value diversity and recognise that different people bring different perspectives, ideas, knowledge and culture and that this difference brings strength.
Queries should be directed to the BAAL chair, Caroline Tagg (baalchair@baal.org.uk).
