How do I pay?

the conference fee must be paid in Euros. If you are a resident of any country besides Ireland, the best way to do this is via a banker's draft. Most banks will issue a banker's draft in Euros. Just drop by your bank and fill in the form, and the draft will be issued a few days later for you to post on to Cork (so you can be sure that the conference organisers connect your registration and your draft). You'll need to tell the bank that the draft is to be payable to 'BAAL-IRAAL Conference 2006' and is to be drawn on an Irish bank. If you have a choice, the best bank to choose is the Bank of Ireland, where the conference organisers' account is; otherwise, Allied Irish banks is a good choice.

Note that you will have to pay a fee to your bank for this service. You might want to save money by getting together with other members and ordering a draft for more than one conference fee at the same time.

Note too that a cheque in euros from another country in the Euro zone won't work: the conference organisers would have to pay prohibitive fees to cash it. They tell you it's one currency, but....
